Building electronic sounds
At the end of the 1970s, the arrival of the synthesizer created a new era in the field of sound making and processing in music. In the past, these sounds were all switched electronically and converted into audible sound by gigantic analog machines.
Today, we live in a digital age where these analog machines are exchanged for plugins that we can open on our computer and build sounds on the same principle.
In a video below I show you how to build two different sounds for one of the most beautiful songs from the late 70's in the field of synthesizer music, namely Oxygene 4 by Jean Michel Jarre.

If you have any suggestions for an (old) song from that time and you are curious how this song was made and which sounds were used, please let us know in the comment box below. Maybe next time I'll show you how your favorite song works. There are no costs involved, so let us know!
